Meet Ralph — My Inner Philosopher (and Giraffe)
Most of us have a “voice of reason” in our heads—maybe even that classic angel on one shoulder, devil on the other.
I have Ralph.
Ralph is a philosophical giraffe who lives upstairs. He’s got impeccable fashion sense, the posture of a gentleman, and a blue-collar work ethic. He's also the room in my head where I go to reflect on life’s memorable moments—its twists, turns, and timeless lessons.
But Ralph is more than just a thought.
He’s a collection of memories, friends, pets, loved ones, and life experiences—told through metaphor and meaning.
A philosopher at heart, he welcomes deep conversation, playful debate, and unexpected truths. But he always prefers to wrap things up with a neat bourbon and a firm handshake.
RalphCo Visual Design Labs LLC is the result of years of conversations with my friend and confidant, Ralph. It's a leap into storytelling through design—a journey that's long overdue.
And so it begins: a creative exploration of friends, family, life… and Ralph.
I like to think we all have a “Ralph” of our own.

As a part of the "be home when the street light comes on" generation, much of my younger life experience is steeped in hose pipe water and chasing the ice cream truck on my bike with the neighborhood hooligans. Many of our designs are based on my experiences with those hooligans. "Unique" may be an understatement. Definitely not basic.
